Autumn is officially here and I have been loving it! It is my all-time favourite season out of the year because it means: pumpkin spice lattes, Halloween, bonfire night, brisk walks, orange and yellow leaves, pumpkin patches and the list could go on forever but to all my autumn lovers out there I am sure you will agree. However, one of my favourite parts of autumn is fashion because there are some amazing pieces out there and the high street has you covered and I paired together two outfits which I find are perfect for those autumn outings.
This is one of my favourite looks which works perfectly for the autumn and I particularly love the yellow mini skirt which I picked up from Topshop which has a signature yellow tie belt and I paired this with a black roll neck top which I picked up from NewLook and a pair of black knee-high boots. Yellow has been reoccurring on the high street for the past few months and let me tell you I am slightly obsessed. What I also love about this outfit is that it works from day to night which means you can easily style it up with a pair of heels or a clutch bag for the more glamorous look. This would be such a nice outfit for a date night. My second outfit is a bit more casual but still works for the season! I love an all-black outfit, I just think there is something so chic and classy about the way someone can wear it and you’re free with so much choice how to style it up or down. Since I was doing this shoot I decided to go for a classic casual look: black high waisted jeans (Miss Selfridge), black roll neck top (NewLook), black Chelsea boots (Garage) and an oversized knit cardigan from Hollister. I chose the white cardigan because it adds that vibrancy of colour to the clothes not to mention they’re super comfy and super easy to throw in your bag if it gets a bit too warm. To finish off the outfit I chose a gold three chain necklace from H&M and I am obsessed with the design of the face on the necklace, it just gives me such artistic vibes and is very different to what I would usually go for. I hope you’re all enjoying the Autumn as much as I am and I would love to know any pieces you have picked up from the High street that you would love to share because I am always on the hunt for new outfits.
Also quick Announcement: If you haven’t noticed already this blog is freshly designed and I now have my own URL name for this site which makes me even more excited. I have been playing with going through this idea of going self-hosted for months and now I finally did it but I love the look of my blog and I could only thank Pip Dig. They have been amazing and Phil has been incredible and is so flexible with keeping up with my many questions and emails but I couldn’t have done it without Pipdig, you have been insane!
